Yes church's "motto/slogan" is "Leading People to live for Jesus Christ." But one of our adopted phrases is "We're just a bunch of messed up people moving forward".
I've been attending/a member of 121 Community Church since 2012. Ross Sawyers is a very authentic pastor who is not afraid to admit his weaknesses & humanity.
Great church! Great Christian community! Great worship experience! Great preaching! Great children's ministry! Great men's ministry! Great church!
The children's ministries (babies through High School) are well executed and run by staff that truly have a heart and passion to lead our younger generations to love Jesus.
Super New place...nice and new for the kids but I just felt ignored. Not sure why??? Not very diverse but that's church in America...they were cordial but not very warm.
great church and community. Pastor Ross is consumed with a passion for people and having them know Christ. His authenticity comes across and has created a great culture.
3rd week to visit 121 and absolutely love it! Everyone is so welcoming and greets me with open arms! The fellowship is like one I've never known in all my years! The message always speaks to me :) I will definitely keep coming back!!
The worship music is loud & rocking which isn't for everyone, but I truly enjoy it. Some of the production details in the worship center are a little over the top for me (moving/flashing lights, etc...), but it's usually implemented very professionally. Every effort is made to make sure the worship experience is designed to draw your attention and focus to Jesus Christ and to provide you with an authentic worship filled environment. (Disclaimer: I serve on this team in a technical respect.)
There isn't a huge "singles" or "college ministry" here, but there are many LifeGroups that fit and minister to these demographics.
Definitely worth checking out!
