I have been in twice now for a blowout and I LOVE this place. The first time I came in to get my hair done for my engagement party then I came back fro my engagement photos. Was a great experience both times! They offer you a drink (though, the first time I came I said I wanted a water and they never brought it to me. Oh well) and take you back for a wonderful wash. It's a great experience! I recommend being very open with your stylist. The first time I came in, it was extremely muggy and humid so my (very thin and fine) hair fell pretty quickly. Explained my concerns the second time I came in and she did everything she could to ensure it didn't fall, and it didn't! Thanks again, would definitely reccommend to anyone I know!
Rachel worked on my hair this morning - absolutely phenomenal work and wonderful personality. The staff welcomed me with a smile even though I was 15 minutes late and was stressed out about all of the stuff I had to do for the day. I was impressed because it was 7am and it is hard to be chipper that early in the morning, but they were. Rachel was so kind and patient with me. Her work was professional and the best blow out I've ever gotten! Would highly recommend this place and her!
My mom and I went in to have our hair done for a formal engagement the evening of November 11. My hair was awful all they did was give the bottom of my hair a few curls and back combed a lump in the back of my head . My mom's experience was just as bad The girl that was doing her hair seemed very inexperienced and then when she made the comment "I'm going to get my instructor to see if she can help" well that said it all how dare an establishment use a student without notifying the customer. We ended up having to be there for over two hours and left still needing to do our hair. The instructor that tried to make the mess the other girls made better was very sweet and she did her best!! I did tip her because she was really sweet and did try to give us a formal letter but it was too late our hair was so messed up by that time we looked like we had just come from the beach!! This was an extremely special event we were going to so my advice if you have a formal event coming up DO NOT USE DRYBAR. Now if you just don't feel like blowdrying your hair I would recommend it because they can use a blow dryer but that's about it. Whatever they do to your hair will only last about an hour after you leave there all the curls just fall right out!!
You can go to your local beauty school and receive a better service for half to a quarter of the price that they're charging!!!
Fantastic blowout with Dixie. She took the time to listen to what i wanted and then was able to do it. I have fine very straight hair and she was able to curl it into beautiful curls. They not only stayed well but the next day i still have a great style with beautiful waves. I got some great products as well. Thank you.
