Rick's was awesome - great selection and prices in every budget. The staff was VERY nice and knowledgeable without being salesy or pushy. I will definitely be buying from there VERY soon when my project is underway in the kitchen.
Called to verify they have Cabinet hinges...they said yes! Their Web listing states they have Cabinet hinges.. they don't have hinges for cabinets. Might be time to update the staff and the Website!
Went in to look for a specialized library ladder system (which they have) and the man that was sent to help me told me it wasn't worth his time because he wouldn't make enough money...so I ordered the 600$ hardware on my own and brought a sample back in to match hardware. The whole reason I wanted a store v. the internet was to see items and get guidance. Unfortunately the same unhelpful man was sent to "help" me again. He took one look around, like 30 seconds, and said he just didn't have anything. Meanwhile, the lady on the other side of the room was being offered catalogs with new options! Then I asked him what he suggested to do with the upper cabinets and he said he had no pictures and I should go look on Houzz. Cleary not motovated to sell hardware to an individual home owner. What a terrible experience.
I have been waiting on door handles for 2yrs. We paid $$$$ for them, once arrived they were discolored. Finally told them to order different ones that were $$ less. Still not here and the manager is trying to keep our money from the first door handle. The other problem, all of our door knows for the house were ordered wrong and they blamed me for the mistake rather than their sales associate. They work with builders, so they are a checkbook company just like the builders they work for. Product are horrible and break easily. Tread lightly if you are forced to work with them and demand itemized receipts.
