The receptionist was kind and greeted us upon arrival. She asked for basic information to check us in to be seen. My kid was moved quickly into a private room. She was seen by Dr Williams and Nurse Elizabeth who were great. They ran all the needed test and took great care of my kid. I took a seat in the family waiting room.
Took my wife to the emergency room for antibiotics for strep. Very poor service. Nurse was condescending. She was not able to put the IV in correctly and my wife left with a lot of bruises and maybe 5 minutes of a painful push of fluids. Total cost was just over $6000. I called and submitted a quality of care complaint. They denied it without even hearing the details or talking to me in person. I called them back 23 times so far. Each and every time they take my information and promise that someone will call me back within 5 business days. It never happens. They have never called me back. It has been over 6 months and I still cannot get an answer from them.
I took my 11 year old in with a knee injury from play football. Everyone was super nice. The staff were kind and caring. Made if laugh and smile even know he was in pain. They talked to him and made him feel important! The nurses doctors and x ray staff were amazing!!!!
My appointment for diagnostic mammogram today 10/9/17 was canceled due to double booking. An error made by Baylor. I have to take time off for this. Unbelievable. This would have been alright if it’s a first time occurrence but it’s not. I was put on hold twice to check with a supervisor. The same response saying, “sorry ma’am my supervisor said we won’t be able to get you in today.”
I had a routine tonsillectomy here ten days ago, everything went well the nurses and doctors were all extremely kind and friendly and very professional. This morning I started bleeding profusely from the site and was coughing up excessive amounts of blood. Upon arrival at the ER they were very quick to get me back and set me up in a room. It was necessary to have another surgery to cauterize the wound to stop the bleeding. The process from admittance to the operating room was extremely quick and all the nurses and doctors again very friendly and caring. The bleeding is a complication that happens to 2-5% of people after a tonsillectomy and I believe more common in adults. The whole staff took a very scary situation and made me feel very calm and comfortable during my visit. After surgery when the wheeled me outside to be picked up they even let me borrow some eclipse glasses to watch the solos eclipse as it was just then at its best point! All in all a very pleasant atmosphere in an unpleasant time. Thanks to Dr janicki, nurse Brittany and everyone else who's name I can't remember!
Two hours later I received a call from Phyllis, only she was not available when I called back.
