Facilities are very nice, the indoors have a small river and various desert gardens. If you haven't been to a Gaylord before, its quite grand. We had a catered brunch and the food was delicious. Employees were attentive and helpful. However, some family members in my party had a bad experience with not getting the right room for our uncle who is 90 and uses a wheelchair, despite double checking to confirm beforehand that the booking was correct. The employees apologized for the mistake and comped lunch for our large group.

This is definitely a nice hotel and I can see the convenience of being so close to DFW airport and attached to the convention center. Large and impressive entry way, the rooms are nice, but for the price you pay I expected much more than what I got. The rooms were just like any other $100 hotel. Food options are overall quite expensive- 3 restaurants and 2 coffee shops I believe. Grapevine mall is close but if you want to do other things, you'll have to drive a bit.

Nice hotel and we enjoyed our visit and the little trains, the bubble that covered a huge space indoors, the stream that ran through, the ambiance and more. Would recommend it at least once if you can afford it. Lodging was priced accordingly ($500+ for two-night stay) with this type of venue but the rooms weren't spectacular or anything. In fact, they were a bit crowded. We had a desk but no dresser so any clothes we didn't hang up stayed in the suitcase. Service was okay but not as good as it should have been for this class of hotel. Parking was expensive and only option we were given was to valet or park in their garage which was $20-$25/night. Ate at their steak house and while it was good food and good service, it was over $300 (3 people) for food only. Two of our party drank water only; the third party had iced tea. It wasn't crowded and we understood why. It is HUGE!

The hotel experience was amazing! I loved walking around and exploring everything. The indoor view was absolutely amazing. They do have restaurants in there which is amazing. Room service was awesome. I highly recommend going here for your family or just a simple getaway.

Indoor pool was big but no hot tub nearby. Outrageous prices for the spa. Outdoor pool was nice and has a hot tub albeit small. Nice parking lot but $22 per day to park is steep. $15 east transport every half hour to the airport which is a nice option. Beautiful jogging trail outside. The staff were all phenomenal and it's definitely a nice hotel, but 4 stars for quality, 3 stars given the price.

This place is incredible... minus one star for the price of parking and miscellaneous inside the place. You may say, well... it is a resort after all. Yes, correct. Locals would like to enjoy the amenities without such a great premium. Over all it is a beautiful place. The ICE show is super fun and crazy cold... bundle up and do not forget your mittens and ear warmers.
