Jerry may be a little overwhelmed today however customer service is always important. Called for an estimate for labor as I have my own parts. Jerry said that it's not appropriate that he stops what he's doing to install parts that are not quality at 2pm. I understand that he has customers and calling at 2pm is a little late in a mechanics work day but I just called for an estimate not to tell him to drop what he's doing and cater to my every need.
This shop is great and quality is their standard. They won't try to make money off something you don't need. I've had an undercarriage inspection done there before and the guys were very helpful and knowledgeable.
We have now taken 2 cars to Jerry and he did a great job with both! Quick to get us in, great at explaining issue and very reasonable costs. He didn't rob us blind like a local dealership! We will take our vehicles to him from now on!
Honest mechanics do exist, and Jerry DeLong Automotive far exceeded my expectations. They were upfront from the beginning on estimated costs regarding my vehicle (broken A/C compressor), did a thorough diagnosis, and went beyond the quick fix to make sure the same issue won't happen again for years to come. They gave me multiple options for replacement parts (factory or after market), answered all my questions, and explained to me in detail what exactly was wrong with my car. They had my car ready to go when they promised and the cost of repair was more than fair. Estimated cost at dealership $1315.00, Jerry fixed my car for $764.00. I will definitely be coming back here with any other (hopefully not) issues I have with my vehicle. Love this local family owned business! ☺️
Good quality work at the right price. I don't have to worry whether the work is done right when I take my Toyota to Jerry. Jerry worked for a Toyota dealer for years and knows them inside out.
Maybe Jerry just shouldn't answer the phones.
I was recommended to Jerry DeLong by a friend and am 100% pleased by the work done. Jerry specializes in Toyota cars so he was able to figure out the problem almost instantly and Michael (who does the business side of the work) was able to get the part quickly. They also made my power steering work more smoothly, which I didn't ask for and they didn't charge me for. I guess going above and beyond is their professional model.
