Our boxer Roxie had surgery on her torn ACL. They were very caring and kind to both Roxie and my husband and I. Sorry we had to go through this but glad it was at DVSC.
This place cares about nothing more than your money. The estimates are overly exaggerated, I advise people to actually educate themselves on some of the items listed in estimates. After research and comparison there was $1900 in charges that were simply not needed. In addition while researching their claims of having board certified surgeons on staff I could only find documentation on ONE of the "certified" surgeons. At the end of the day if I am paying more than what most of the employees there make in a month in a day your better show ME AND MY ANIMAL compassion and respect. ALWAYS ALWAYS compare get 2nd opinion. It wound up being a positive thing as I found a wonderful board certified surgeon that is very caring and made me feel like helping my pet was most important and my money was bonus AND saved myself $1939 by letting him perform the exact same surgery.
Feel pretty upset we used this surgical center looking back. Up front the recovery team for post opt and such is strong. I fill we were misled by two gets for a very very very expensive surgery and 5 days in the hospital recovery. Here we are 6 months later and our poor dog still has no function of her hind legs. The original surgeon didn't even perform the surgery to start with. Next, not one person ever called us to check on our awesome dog. To add, the front desk ladies are simply short and rude when you call or dare ask s. My wife and I were told so many varing recovery things and possibilities that our heads are still spinning. We could afford only the 1 free, should be more for the price, physical therapy where we were asked... How old is this dog.. I guess one of the uncaring surgeons didn't make notes that are dog is 4. Anyhow. I suggest you look elsewhere for the care of your babies. Never would go back and bill was $800 more than wrong quote. Just not right.
All the doctors here are the best of the best, espically Dr. Franks. The front desk staff and incredible and efficient and the technicians are the best! Compassionate, caring, and comforting.
Do you like waiting on hold? Do you like for people working on your animal to not read previous notes from your vet to best diagnose? Do you like excuses? Everyone in this building is a complete mess.
