The atmosphere is personal, intimate, quiet, and incredible. This isn't in the nature of 'elegant dining' but more in the nature of sitting in a chef's private kitchen and enjoying their personally chosen ingredients and meals. Very accommodating to food allergies and willing to adjust and converse about any concerns. Pricey, but this is unlike any other dining experience you will get. A downtown experience without driving to downtown.
I really love this place. Food is fantastic, owner is very kind, and it's always a good spot for a great meal. While the location is probably one of the worst places they seem to make it work. Probably the best restaurant in the mid-cities area.
Everything was absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Our server was pleasant and informative. One of the owners came by and talked for a bit, and was very welcoming. We will definitely return!
Quiet to the point of dead inside, very dated decor with extremely high prices for the atmosphere and level of service. We were looking for some casual appetizers and thought we would give this a try. They do have a large selection of pizzas for small appetizers but we were coming for pizza. We had the charcuterie which was nothing special for $30++ we got a lot of store bought bread slices and a few cheese cubes, the meats were good and unique. We had the calamari which was very average and didn't eat half and then shared the Elk. This was very tender and cooked well. Overall the food was good, it just was not a great experience and not something I would recommend for a week night meal. This place tries to serve expensive five course meals and offer a high priced menu without the attention to detail that others in the price range offer. Worn wooden tables, cheap silverware, yucky restrooms with high prices don't amount to fine dining. They have some nice menu options and a unique concept but it is lost in the empty tables, outdated decor, and dirty restrooms.
......... wow! Amazing service and the food is unparalleled. I can't wait to bring friends and family here!! They've only open a little over a year? I feel Luck to have found this gem. "Goose bumps" quality. Family owned and the feel is real.
