We ordered everything to try it out. Turkey=win, pulled pork=win, brisket=champion, ribs=good. Bacon man and cheese!!! Coleslaw wasn't great. Beans were great.
I shall return and get a prime rib roast on Friday and I will let you know how that is.
Really friendly staff, who let us sample a few items before making our order. The pulled pork and sausage were fantastic, the brisket was good as well. I would definitely recommend this place
Fair warning ordering is by weight or by person. It is a lot of food. Just say what meat you want and what sides for how many. It isn't cheap, but high quality. Found way here to get away from basic stuff at Gaylord. Worth the trip! Closes early by my city's standard. Very casual as you see in pictures.
6+ rating. This is absolutely the BEST brisket I have ever had in my life. I have been to Bone Daddy's, Red Hot and Blue, Soulman's, Po Daddy's. This is the best for sure in DFW. I got the "wet" brisket that has a little more fat in the edges, kinda like "burnt ends" at Bone Daddy's which is good, All the places I mentioned are good, but Meat U Anywhere cannot be beat. No sauce needed on the wet brisket. If you want sauce, the Carolina is the best in the house. The Jalapeno cheese sausage is some of the best. The french fries are the big wedges with a little spice.
Very good beef brisket sandwich, voted best in DFW. A plate is $9, (2017), which includes a huge brisket sandwich (almost enough meat for 2 normal sandwiches), and a side. Nice atmosphere, nice people, but weird location. I never noticed this place before they won awards and I searched them out.
I recommend you park in a neighborhood road close by and walk to this place. Parking is limited and stressful. But the food is amazing. I've never been disappointed in quality of food or service. Check this place out and I always ask for whatever just came off the pit.
