Purchased oven micro combination on a Wed. Was told by the salesman delivery would be the following Monday. On Monday after 3:00 pm I called to check status, was told not in yet would be in on Tues. On Tues I called by 1:00 pm to check status, told not in would be in on Wed. Each time I had to call the sales guy he never called to let me know. On Wed I called in and asked a different person to check the status, was told my order number was not in the system and they would check on it. They did call me back saying the order wasn't placed. She took care of it and scheduled the delivery and install I paid for on Thurs. Thurs the delivery men showed up but didn't know it was a install and didn't have the tools or time to do the job. Had to schedule with them the next week for installation plus they charged me $100 more to finished what I supposedly already paid for. I had already missed over 4 days of work waiting for delivery and installation. Liked the oven hated the customer support and service DO NOT RECOMMEND
When looking for appliances Factory Builder Stores is the place to go. You have a salesman(the best is Bret Saylors) very knowledgeable and knows how to get the deal done that helps you and then they have assistants(Amanda Frech who is really on top of things and making the deal work smoothly) The two of them working together are an incredible pair so when you call with a question, warranty help (which they are the best at) ect you always get a person to either answer your question or insure that the salesman got the message. Amanda always goes above and beyond to insure that my clients and there needs are always taken care of in a timely fashion. Bret always goes the extra mile to make sure they get the best deal and the best appliances for there money. Thanks Amanda and Bret for going above and beyond
We had (stupidly) purchased a built-in double oven from Sears the weekend before Thanksgiving (ours went kaput) based on their promise of delivery Monday. They did deliver, but the oven was defective - they find out after 2.5 hours of installing. Installers were unprofessional and incompetent, oven was bad, but the worst part was the nightmare of trying to get service from Sears. After countless hours on hold, lies and broken promises of next day delivery, we finally find out Sears canceled the order (after they PROMISED delivery of a new oven Tuesday). As of this writing, Sears has yet to refund our money even though THEY mistakenly canceled the order after guaranteeing delivery for the next day.
From the initial phone call through the installation, we had a fabulous experience.

So, in the middle of fighting the hugely incompetent bureaucracy of Sears, I call Factory Builder Stores. A sincerely nice woman answers. I briefly explain issue, she sympathizes, finds oven in stock that we want, tells me they will install the next day, but then calls installer directly and says, "He can be there today." I buy the oven (at a significantly lower price than Sears, by the way) over the phone. She emails a receipt to me. The oven installation is completed within an hour of my phone call and it is perfect. No hassle. No runaround. No excuses or transfers to multiple departments. Professional, knowledgeable installers. She listened, knew what I needed, and made it happen immediately. EXCELLENT experience. I will never buy appliances anywhere else. THANK YOU!!!
